Paul Sincaglia, P.E. is the Group Leader – Fire Protection Engineering at AcuTech. In this capacity, he leads the fire protection engineering practice and is the subject matter expert for building and fire code compliance as well as the design, installation, commissioning, testing, and maintenance of fire protection and life safety systems.
Paul is a graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute with over 30 years of experience as a managing design professional, fireground officer, and code enforcement official. Through most of his career, Paul has served as both the Project Manager and the Engineer in Responsible Charge for projects covering virtually every occupancy type including heavy industrial, high-hazard storage, petro-chemical, nuclear, aviation, healthcare, and a wide range of mixed-use occupancies.
At AcuTech, Paul specializes in code compliance and consulting services employing International Code Council (ICC), National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), Factory Mutual (FM), and many other internationally recognized codes, standards, and regulations. Additionally, he provides litigation support and expert witness services regarding fire protection/life safety system failures and related building and fire code compliance issues.
