2022 Updates to OSHA PSM and EPA RMP – Webinar
Process Safety and Legal experts from AcuTech Group, Inc and Greenberg Traurig, LLP recently held a webinar on the key proposed regulatory updates to the OSHA PSM Standard and EPA RMP Rule, published in the Federal Registrar on August 8, 2022.
The current administration has set a priority to address process safety and risk management planning regulatory updates, including the OSHA PSM and EPA RMP, as the OSHA PSM CFR 1910.119 has not changed since its initial adoption in May 1992. Many of the changes proposed in August 2022 were proposed during previous administrations and later denied. This webinar explored the expansion of scope and applicability, as well as the expansion of compliance requirements. A legal perspective including how these revisions could become law, potential issues, and their timing was also considered.
