| AcuTech’s Greg Keeports Presents at IST Workshop |

AcuTech’s Greg Keeports presented a paper on “Inherently Safer Concepts and Methodologies for Implementation” at a special “Partnering for the Development of Inherently Safer Technologies and Alternatives” Workshop sponsored by the Mary Kay O’Connor Process Safety Center as an open forum with the US Department of Homeland Security.
Derived from a paper authored by Dave Moore, AcuTech’s President and CEO, the presentation focused on current IST methods, technology and evaluation tools, and inherently safer design strategies and analysis approaches.
AcuTech is a recognized subject matter expert on IST (link to new brochure), providing IST services to industry and government. AcuTech served as the lead author for the second edition of seminal book for the AIChE Center for Chemical Process Safety, “ Inherently Safer Chemical Processes, A Life Cycle Approach. ” Dave Moore has testified in the US Senate Environment and Public Works Committee on IST for chemical security.
