AcuTechs Mike Hazzan made a two hour presentation on CFATS SVAs for the Hunton & Williams seminar held Friday September 19 in Washington DC. The seminar entitled Understanding the CFATS SVA:
Legal and Technical Considerations was held at the law offices of Hunton & Williams in Washington DC. The one-day workshop was designed to provide in-house lawyers and security personnel with an understanding of the legal and technical issues that may arise during completion of the Security Vulnerability Assessment required by the Department of Homeland Security’s Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards. Susan Armstrong of the Department of Homeland Security spoke on the current status of the CFATS program and provided some details as to expected release of the Risk Based Performance Standards guidance in the near future.
